Trackman iO

The Trackman iO is a purpose-built indoor launch monitor that integrates radar, infrared, and high-speed imaging into a centralized overhead system. Utilizing Optically Enhanced Radar Tracking (OERT) and high-speed cameras capturing up to 4,600 FPS, the iO directly measures 3D spin and spin axis without the need for calculated inferences. This ceiling-mounted architecture is optimized for simulator environments where floor space is prioritized, requiring no minimum ball flight distance to deliver accurate data across ball and club parameters. Tracking Technology & Hardware OERT Technology: Multi-modal sensor fusion combining radar, infrared, and imaging for ultra-low latency indoor tracking. Camera Performance: High-speed optical sensors operating at 4,600 FPS for precise impact and spin analysis. Mounting Configuration: Overhead ceiling-mounted design eliminates the need for floor-based hardware. Direct Measurement: Captures 3D spin, spin axis, and ball speed directly from the source. Tracked Parameters & Software Core Data Metrics Ball Data: Ball Speed, Launch Angle, Launch Direction, Spin Rate, Spin Axis, Carry Distance, Side Total, Height, Hang Time, Curve, Landing Angle. Club Data: Club Speed, Smash Factor. (Additional club metrics available with Home Complete and Commercial software packages). Software Packages Home: Core tracking experience with base courses and metrics. Home Complete: Unlocks advanced club data, full course library, games, and diagnostic tools. Commercial: Includes Business Portal, tournament management, and multi-bay facility analytics. Installation & Space Requirements Mounting Height: 9’4” to 10’ (9’8” is the calibrated optimal height). System Positioning: 3’3” to 3’5” in front of the tee position. Screen Distance: Minimum 8’2” from tee to impact screen (10’ recommended for safety and acoustics). Turf Footprint: Requires a minimum hitting area of 6’ D × 5’ W.
