Surely, it is still taller compared to the other tripods in the market. But, it remains to be lightweight. That being said, the TR424 professional tripod supports cameras and lenses of up to 125 lbs. You can place any of your heavy setups and it will have no problems. Moreover, the top plate is modular. It transforms via accessories like the ProMediaGear TRB75 75mm Leveling Bowl insert.  The ProMediaGear 42 Series tripods have 42mm diameter legs. It only weighs 5.9 lbs or 2700 grams. Also, this model has 4 sections. Thus, it has a smaller folded length of 21.25 inches. It is not the lightest tripod out there. But, the carbon fiber legs have 10 layers in a cross-weave pattern. The three adjustable locking angles allow for any shooting position. Ultimately, the carbon layer makes it lightweight and durable. Moreover, you can use this heavy-duty tripod in any terrain imaginable. Whether it is raining, windy, sunny, or snowing, this tripod can handle it. Basically, it can withstand the toughest conditions out there. The tripod apex has a safety lock button for your setup. Plus, it features a standard tripod mounting thread for universal compatibility. It fits ball heads, gimbal heads, and other accessories snugly. In addition, there are multiple 1/4-20 threaded adapters for extra accessories. Lastly, the tripod feet have built-in spikes for outdoor use. The regular rubber feet are perfect for indoor usage.
