TR Bulb Table Lamp

The Audo Copenhagen TR Bulb Table Lamp addresses modern nomadic living with a lighting solution designed to move with you from apartment to apartment, city to city. Created by London-based designer Tim Rundle in his first collaboration with Audo Copenhagen, this lamp emerged from observing how people increasingly relocate for careers and life experiences, needing portable lighting that doesn't require electrical expertise or permanent installation. The elegant spherical opal glass bulb sits on a solid marble or powder-coated steel base with brushed brass accents, creating a timeless silhouette at 8.7 inches high and 7.9 inches in diameter that works across different interior styles. What makes the TR Bulb genuinely clever is its simplicity - the dimmable LED bulb with E27 fitting can be unscrewed from the base and taken to your next home, hotel room, or temporary space, then reinstalled in standard pendant sockets hanging from ceilings worldwide. The opal glass diffuser creates even, harmonious glow that prevents glare, making it comfortable for reading or ambient lighting. The table lamp version comes complete with a 78.7-inch black textile cord, giving you flexibility for placement without requiring proximity to outlets. The dimmable LED technology means you can adjust brightness to suit different moods and uses, from bright task lighting to soft ambient glow for evening relaxation. Available in both shiny and matte opal glass finishes, plus base options in marble with powder-coated steel or brushed brass with lacquer, you can choose combinations that match your aesthetic preferences. The marble base adds substantial weight and luxury, while the brass option brings warmth and sophistication. What's practical about the TR Bulb's design is its longevity - both stylistically and functionally. The simple spherical form creates timeless appeal that won't feel dated in five years, while LED technology with normal use lasts many years before requiring replacement. The 60W maximum, 110V specification with included dimmable LED bulb means you're ready immediately without hunting for compatible components. Audo Copenhagen partnered with Tim Rundle to create lighting that improves the manufactured environment through elegant, technically refined solutions - Rundle's core design philosophy. Originally from New Zealand, Rundle brings diverse experience from working with PriestmanGoode, Tom Dixon, and as Design Director at Conran and Partners before establishing his own studio in 2015. His dedication to creating engaging, relevant designs with deep understanding of materials and manufacturing shows in how the TR Bulb quietly enhances atmosphere without demanding attention. The lamp reflects Audo Copenhagen's commitment to purposeful details and quality materials shaped by human needs, creating modern classics that redefine how we use space and light. The TR Bulb series expanded from the original pendant to include table, wall, and ceiling versions, demonstrating how one strong concept can adapt to different applications while maintaining design integrity and addressing real needs of contemporary mobile lifestyles.
