The Celica ran from 1970 to 2006 as Toyota's long-running sports car — evolving from a pony car-inspired coupé through turbocharged all-wheel-drive rally versions to a front-wheel-drive GT. At its peak in the 1990s, the Celica GT-Four contested the World Rally Championship with Carlos Sainz and Didier Auriol, winning the manufacturer title in 1993 and 1994. It remains one of the most versatile and enduring sports car nameplates in Japanese automotive history. Rova built the Celica at 1:24 scale to honour six generations of Japanese sporting ambition.
