Tornado Pac-Vac Backpack Vacuums

Carrying a canister vacuum up three flights of stairs slows a night crew down before the first floor is finished. The Pac-Vac Aircomfort line moves the motor and bag onto your back instead, so you can work an office floor or a stairwell in one pass with 110 cubic feet per minute of airflow behind the wand. Every configuration is a dry-debris machine, sized for daily dust and grit rather than spills or wet recovery. The backpack format also removes the complication of an upright body you would otherwise steer around desk legs and theater seating, which is where corded canisters usually lose minutes. You can select this line by tank capacity and by corded or cordless power. Key Features and Benefits of the Tornado Pac-Vac Backpack Vacuums Airflow Rating: Maximum airflow of 110 cubic feet per minute keeps suction strong at the tool head, so you clear embedded grit in fewer passes. HEPA Filtration: A HEPA filter cartridge anchors 4-stage filtration that captures fine dust, so you can vacuum occupied rooms without stirring allergens back into the air. Aircomfort Harness: Deuter's patented Aircomfort harness lets air escape from 3 sides, reducing perspiration by up to 25 percent compared to closed-back systems. Adjustable Fit: The harness gives you 5 points of adjustment, so torso length and belt tension can be set to your own frame. Quiet Operation: Corded models measure 69.5 dB (63 dB on the battery-operated model), quiet enough for daytime cleaning in occupied rooms. Bagged Collection: Bagged collection with one Tornado 6 Quart Paper Bag included keeps dust contained while you change bags. Floor Tools: A carpet tool measuring 14 inches and a matching hard floor tool cover handle mixed routes, joined by an EZ glide carpet tool for faster passes. Tool Kit: A crush-proof hose and double-bend wand resist kinking under desks, while a crevice tool, upholstery brush, and dusting brush handle detail work. Belt Storage: The waist belt holds standard tools, so you are not walking back to your cart mid-route. cETLus Listed: The cETLus listing confirms this backpack vacuum meets United States and Canadian electrical safety standards for commercial duty. Choose Your Capacity and Power Source The line comes in 3 configurations that differ by bag capacity and by whether the vacuum draws power from a cord or a battery. 6 Quart: Runs on 110-120 volt power with a power cord measuring 50 feet, and its body measuring 20.5 inches stays narrow enough for stairwells and tight cubicle aisles. Model number 93012B. 10 Quart: Stepping up from the smaller model, this version adds 4 more quarts of bag capacity in a body measuring 25.25 inches in height and 13 inches in width, so bag changes interrupt long runs less often. Model number 93014B. Battery-Operated 6 Quart: Also known as the Pac-Vac 6 Roam, this cordless model trades the cord for a battery rated at 36 volts that runs continuously for up to 1 hour and swaps out without taking the vacuum off your back. Model number 93016B-1. Sylvane's Expert Take If you run a janitorial crew across multi-floor offices and schools, this line suits routes where cord management and furniture obstacles cost you the most time. If you choose the battery model, plan routes around its continuous runtime of one hour rather than suction. The ventilated harness helps your team keep the vacuum on through longer shifts. Match capacity to route length, and you will not overthink the rest.
