Tornado M Series Floor Buffer

When your facility floors take punishment daily, the M Series Floor Buffer gives you a durable platform for demanding work. A rolled-steel base and non-marking soft bumper guards help protect walls and fixtures as you work close to them, while a three-planetary gear system transfers power to the floor-contacting head. From morning polishing in retail aisles to after-hours refinishing, you can use these walk-behind buffers throughout your hard-floor routine. You can reach a long corridor from a single outlet with the 50-foot power cord, then use the wheels to roll the buffer to the next area. Key Features and Benefits of the Tornado M Series Floor Buffer Dual-Capacitor Motor: The motor rated at 1.5 horsepower uses 2 capacitors and low amperage, so you get scrubbing power without overloading shared building circuits. Planetary Gears: A three-planetary gear system transfers motor power to the floor-contacting head, helping you maintain consistent contact during demanding work. Pad Speed: At 175 RPM, the machine gives you a pace suited to daily polishing and heavy-duty floor preparation. Start Guard Handle: The cast-aluminum Start Guard I handle has cushioned grips, helping you reduce hand and arm fatigue across a full shift. Adjustable Height: A cam lever lets you set handle height for your reach, so you can work without stooping or over-reaching. Quick-Grip Holder: The quick-grip pad holder comes standard, letting you change your floor-care setup efficiently between tasks. Standard Voltage: Wired for 110-120 volt power, the buffer lets you connect to ordinary building outlets without a special circuit. Protective Bumpers: Non-marking soft bumper guards surround the rolled-steel base, helping you avoid scuffs on baseboards and fixtures. Long Cord: The 50-foot power cord gives you room to work along extended corridors from a single outlet. Wheeled Design: Wheels let you tilt and roll the buffer between work areas, so you can reposition it without carrying it. Choose Your Cleaning Path Width Choose between the 17-inch and 20-inch cleaning path options to fit your doorways and open floor area. 17-inch Model: This model gives you a 17-inch cleaning path and a 23-inch device head. At 100 pounds, it suits tighter restrooms and entryways. 20-inch Model: This model gives you a 20-inch cleaning path and a 26-inch device head. At 105 pounds, it suits open lobbies and long corridors. Sylvane's Expert Take This Floor Buffer model is right for your in-house janitorial team or contract cleaning crew when you need to polish one night and strip floors the next, especially on hard floors in schools and retail buildings. Consider the obstacles your space faces: the 17-inch model turns tighter around fixtures, while the 20-inch model shortens your pass count in open rooms. Because you get the same motor and gearing in both sizes, choose based on the width your spaces can accommodate.
