Tornado BR 16/3 Compact Cylindrical Scrubber

Cleaning small, cluttered rooms usually means dragging a machine sized for open floors into spaces it was never meant to enter. The Tornado BR 16/3 Compact Cylindrical Scrubber takes the opposite approach, using a walk-behind frame narrow enough for restroom stalls and stock aisles, with cylindrical brushes that work into grout lines and textured surfaces. Low-moisture scrubbing does more than trim resource use. Less liquid left behind means shorter dry times, so a lobby or restroom can reopen sooner after you pass through instead of sitting behind wet-floor signs. Key Features and Benefits of the Tornado BR 16/3 Compact Cylindrical Scrubber Deeper Contact Pressure: Cylindrical brushing applies 4 to 6 times more contact pressure than rotary scrubbing, spinning at up to 660 RPM, so even with a weight of 67 pounds, the device lifts ground-in soil instead of polishing over it. Adjustable Pressure: This feature lets you vary brush contact across the full 16-inch cleaning path so you can ease off on finished tile and lean in on soiled concrete. Large Tanks: Removable 3-gallon solution and recovery tanks lift out so you can empty, rinse, and refill at the nearest sink. Forward/Reverse Scrubbing: Forward and reverse operation on a 19-inch-wide chassis lets you clean up to fixtures, then back out of dead ends. High-Powered Motor: Drawing up to 14 amps on 110-120-volt power, the 1.5 horsepower motor runs from ordinary building outlets. Commercial Noise Level: With a maximum noise level of 71 dB, this scrubber outputs the same noise volume as a vacuum cleaner or heavy traffic. Included Tooling: The scrubber includes two soft scrub brushes and two squeegee assemblies, each carrying two blades. Removable Wheels: Large transport wheels are removable, making the 67-pound machine easier to load into a van between sites. Is a 16-Inch Cleaning Path Right for Your Building? The Tornado BR 16/3's 21-inch head depth and 15-inch height give you a compact footprint to account for when planning storage and transportation. So make sure to measure your janitorial closet and cleaning areas before you commit. The low profile helps you plan storage around shelves and nearby equipment. Sylvane's Expert Take Choose this scrubber for commercial or industrial floors where your routine includes frequent turns and limited room to maneuver. It is ideal for situations where you need to manage water and chemical use while cleaning textured surfaces. Plan outlet access before starting because the corded electric design ties your route to building power. For varied floor conditions, adjustable brush pressure is the feature we appreciate most.
