Topping DX5 II | Desktop DAC and Amp

Say Hello to the New and Improved Topping DX5, Refined and Ready to Impress Fully balanced desktop DAC and headphone amplifier Dual ES9039Q2M DACs Features new X-Hybrid triple-stage amplification circuit 10-Band PEQ with precision tuning and presets Triple output support for all headphones Dual ES9039Q2M DACs The Topping DX5 II utilizes two high-performance ESS ES9029Q2M DAC chips, one for each channel. Compared to its predecessor, this design delivers improved SNR, greater dynamic range and lower distortion. This translates to cleaner, more detailed and lifelike sound. X-Hybrid Headphone Amplifier Circuit X-Hybrid marks a significant leap beyond traditional NFCA architecture, introducing an all-new triple-stage hybrid amplification design. It preserves the hallmark ultra-low distortion and wide dynamic range of NFCA while dramatically improving efficiency through a refined circuit topology, reducing both static power consumption and heat. All of this advanced engineering fits inside a compact chassis that still manages to house a fully balanced, quad-channel amplifier. Versatile Connectivity The DX5 II is equipped with 6.35mm SE, 4.4mm BAL and 4-pin XLR headphone jacks. By meeting the needs of low-sensitivity headphones to highly-sensitive IEMs, the DX5 II is sure to fit your needs.  With a low noise floor of 1.8uVrms, even the most sensitive IEMs remain free from any audible background hiss. Delivering a powerful 7600mW from two outputs, DX5 II allows almost all headphones to reach their full performance potential. Precision PEQ Adjustment The DX5 II is built with Topping’s new 10-band PEQ system, offering high-precision tuning of frequency, gain, and bandwidth for each band. With PC software support, users can import target curves, apply curve compensation, and save multiple presets. Independent PEQ profiles for headphone and line-out outputs allow you to dial in the perfect sound for any setup. Additional Features Aurora UI with Full-Color Display Make quick and efficient adjustments to your settings with a 2-inch full color screen and three buttons. Choose from 9 different kinds of background colors and display modes. The press-able knob supports customizable functions, allowing access to any input mode. Hi-Res Wireless Audio Equipped with a QCC5125 chip, DX5 II supports Bluetooth 5.1 and can support up to 96kHz/24bit playback. It also fully supports LDAC, aptX-Adaptive, aptX, aptX HD, AAC, SBC and other audio encodings. Plug and Play Compatible with Windows 10/11, macOS, Linux, iOS, and Android, the DX5 II features a third-gen XMOS XU316 USB interface with Thesycon drivers for stable and high-performance operation. USB input supports up to PCM 768kHz/32bit and DSD512, ensuring every detail is captured in your digital library. Self-Developed IV Circuitry Topping's self-developed I/V circuitry conversion circuit unleashes the full potential of the dual DACs by minimizing distortion and noise, delivering exceptional performance within a compact footprint. Preamp Mode Activate preamp mode to control volume directly from the DX5 II when connecting to a power amplifier or active speakers, no external preamp needed. With volume memory for each input/output configuration, your listening settings are always just where you left them. 12V Trigger The DX5 II includes 12V trigger input and output ports, allowing it to power on or off in sync with other compatible devices, for seamless system integration.
