Top-Down Sweater in Big Cotton is knit from the top-down and in the round with straightforward raglan shaping. The stockinette and raglan rhythm makes these styles joyful (and quick!) to knit - as well as accessible to a wide range of knitting levels! Since you are knitting top down you can easily adjust the length of the sweater and sleeves to fit your needs. Gauge: Stockinette on size US 19: 7 sts/4", 10 rows/4". 1x1 rib on size US 17 8 sts/4’’, 10.5 rows/4’’. This sweater is knit in the round so your gauge swatch for stockinette stitch should also be knit in the round - usually knitting stockinette stitch in the round results in tighter tension since there are no purl rows.
