TOP-DOG™ Multifunction Tray Ladder Tray – Versatile Paint Tray for Rollers

Product Overview: The ROLLINGDOG Top Dog Ladder Tray is designed to solve one of the biggest problems painters face when working at height: constantly climbing up and down the ladder to reload paint and tools. This tray converts most ladders into a stable, compact paint station, allowing painters to keep rollers, brushes, and paint within reach while staying focused on the job. Built specifically for ladder work, the Top Dog Ladder Tray improves efficiency, reduces fatigue, and helps painters work safer and faster on cut-ins, trim, and rolling tasks. How It Works The tray hooks securely onto ladder rungs using reinforced plastic support legs, creating a stable platform while you work. Once mounted, it holds paint and tools at a comfortable working height so you don’t need to balance a can or climb down repeatedly. When not in use on a ladder, the tray can also be laid flat on the ground or stood upright against a wall, making it versatile for different stages of a painting job. Key Features & Benefits Designed Specifically for Ladder Use Sturdy molded legs hook onto ladder rungs to keep the tray stable while working at height. This design helps free up your hands and reduces awkward movements when loading rollers or brushes. Deep 3-Liter Paint Reservoir The deep well holds up to 3 liters of paint, allowing longer painting sessions with fewer refills and fewer trips up and down the ladder. Textured Roller Loading Grid Built-in grid helps distribute paint evenly across rollers, improving coverage and reducing drips while working above ground level. Durable, Job-Site Ready Construction Heavy-duty plastic construction with reinforced legs is designed to withstand daily professional use. Integrated carry handle makes it easy to move from rung to rung as you work. Common Uses Painting walls and ceilings from ladders Cut-in work along edges and trim Rolling small to medium wall sections at height Ladder-based painting in residential and commercial settings How to Use Ladder Setup Position the tray so the support legs hook securely over the ladder rungs. Ensure the tray is level before loading paint or tools. Loading Paint Pour paint directly into the deep reservoir and use the textured grid to load rollers evenly. The tray fits rollers up to 10.6" (270 mm). Working at Height Keep brushes, rollers, and paint on the tray to minimize ladder movement and improve workflow. Move the tray up or down the ladder as needed using the built-in handle. What to Expect During Use Using the Top Dog Ladder Tray can significantly reduce the number of trips up and down the ladder during a job. Painters often notice improved efficiency, less fatigue, and better focus since tools and paint remain within reach. As with any ladder accessory, proper setup and balanced loading are important to maintain stability and safety while working. Cleanup & Maintenance Fitted disposable liners (SKU 20120L) are available to speed up cleanup between color changes. Without liners, simply pour out excess paint and rinse the tray with water. Allow it to dry before storing. Frequently Asked Questions What size rollers does this tray fit? The tray accommodates rollers up to 10.6" (270 mm). Can this tray be used off the ladder? Yes.
