Toolchest

If you like Jan's CRAFT OF SAIL, or MOVING HEAVY THINGS, we think you'll be a fan of TOOLCHEST. From wood to wood uses, and the tools one might want in their toolchest or tool bag. The book includes use tips and techniques.  You may also be familiar with Jan's work that has been featured in WoodenBoat magazine's Getting Started in Boats series.  “Jan Adkins’ “Toolchest” is tops!  The illustrations and text are fun, whimsical and, best of all, spot on accurate. A joy for anyone who loves hand tools and/or wood.” -Greg Rossel, author of Building Small Boats, and WoodenBoat School Instructor by Jan Adkins 48 pp., softcover 8.5 x 11" landscape format If you notice the Hamlet reference on the "belongs  to" page, here's more about the hawk from a handsaw line on Word Detective.
