Tonya Tote

DESCRIPTION: This beautiful tote is just big enough to tote around everything you need for a day of work at a coffee house and the perfect shoulder bag to take to dinner with the girls. It features an inside pocket, a tab & loop top closure, and a tassel accent. Made of Haitian goat leather - the true color is more of a honey brown. The Story: All of the leather- whether it is from the Noble Goat (one of the primary sources of protein in Haiti) sheep, or cow- is sourced in-country as a by-product of food. Talk about an authentic #notwasted story! The leather products are handmade in “The Brothers” Workshop in Jubilee, a small developing community by the sea, on the outskirts of Gonaives. Founded by Benson Thermidor, this workshop employs over 20 people and is changing the story for people in this neighborhood.  PRODUCT DETAILS: Material: Tanned Goat Leather with aluminum accents Dimensions: 15 x 12 x 4" Open top with leather strip closure Large interior pocket with velcro closure  IMPACT: Handmade with love in Haiti ♥ 2nd Story Goods is a community of impassioned women and men working to design and produce beautiful products that do good, are good, and look good.
