TOMMANIKIN® - BLAST

DESCRIPTION The TOMMANIKIN® - Tactical Operation Medical Manikin co-developed by ITTS and Techline Technologies. TOMMANIKIN® simulators provide the ability to enhance training in Tactical Combat Casualty Care (TCCC) from Point of Injury to transfer of higher care. This all-in-one system allows instructors to build multiple realistic traumatic casualty scenarios with reactive patients. The TOMM Series is designed for use in classroom settings, trauma lanes and field training scenarios. Unique advantages to the system include multiple, interchangeable appendages that can present a variety of wounding patterns such as gunshot, blast and burns to provide full mission profiles in combat scenarios, disaster re-creations and mass casualty events. Constructed of silicone and welded steel, TOMMANIKIN® weighs more than 160 pounds with extremities that can withstand up to 6,000 pounds of pressure, making these rugged remote controlled simulators the ideal choice for confined space, building collapse, care under fire, and entrapment training scenarios. Intervention capabilities on all manikins include tourniquet application, airway management (basic to advanced), needle decompression, chest tube, IV/IO, and wound packing. BLAST TOMMANIKIN® features Skull with blast/burned head skin, packable abdominal evisceration, shrapnel wound right arm, and full amputation left leg (tourniquet-responsive). In addition to the manikin itself, all TOMM packages also include: ITTS Advanced Remote Tablet and Software enabling wireless control of up to 12 TOMMANIKIN® units with capabilities of bleeding, breathing, multiple voice tracks, pulse rates, pulse pressure and realistic responses to responder interventions 1.2 gallon onboard blood reservoir 1400 Pelican Accessories Case TOMMANIKIN® 12v / 5 and 10 Amp NiMH rechargeable batteries each with its own smart charger T handle tool (for extremity changing) and various air & fluid replacement connectors TOMMANIKIN® Operator's Manual 1-year warranty SPECS All-in-one, hyper-realistic trauma simulator enabling instructors to build multiple realistic traumatic casualty scenarios with reactive patients Industry-leading durable construction features a powder-coated, welded steel frame, solid steel joints and rugged silicone skin with extremities interchangeable between all TOMM platforms Bends and rotates for realistic patient movement at the arms, legs and waist Equipped with Advanced Remote Tablet and Software enabling wireless control of up to 12 TOMMANIKIN® units with capabilities of bleeding, breathing, multiple voice tracks, pulse rates, pulse pressure and realistic responses to responder interventions Intervention capabilities include tourniquet application, airway management (basic to advanced), needle decompression, chest tube, IV/IO, and wound packing Onboard power via a 12v / 5 amp & 10 amp standard rechargeable nickel metal hydride (NiMH) batteries 1.2 gallon onboard blood reservoir facilitating massive bleeding from multiple locations BLAST TOMMANIKIN® features Skull with blast/burned head skin, packable abdominal evisceration, shrapnel wound right arm, and full amputation left leg (tourniquet-responsive) Operational Medical Procedures: Tourniquets (proximal, junctional, and abdominal tourniquets) Active bleeding controllable by direct pressure on pressure points Wound packing with realistic bleeding control Nasopharyngeal and oral airways, supraglottic airway insertion and endotracheal intubation Surgical airway with realistic bleeding and tissue dissection. 35 operative sites included Remote controlled breathing rates: Slow, Normal, and Fast Bilateral Needle Decompression at either 2nd/3rd intercostal (mid-clavicular), or 5th/6th intercostal (mid-axillary) locations Realistic chest seal application & adhesion Chest Tube capable (bilateral) Radial pulses in uninjured upper extremities and bilateral carotid pulses Variable pulse rate & pressure (Normal, bounding, thready) IO (sternal & humoral) and antecubital IV access on uninjured upper extremities Packable abdominal evisceration BLAST TOMMANIKIN® Package: 1 x TOMMANIKIN®, BLAST including Skull with blast/burned head skin, packable abdominal evisceration, shrapnel wound right arm, and full amputation left leg (tourniquet-responsive) 1 x ITTS Advanced Remote Tablet and Software 1 x 12v / 5 amp rechargeable NiMH battery with Smart Charger 1 x 12v / 10 amp rechargeable NiMH battery with Smart Charger 1 x 1.2 gallon onboard blood reservoir 1 x 1400 Black Pelican Accessories Case 1 x T handle tool (for extremity changing) and various air & fluid replacement connectors 1 x TOMMANIKIN® Operator's Manual 1 x 1-year warranty document Dimensions: Pelican Accessories Case: L 13.74 in. x W 11.63 in. x D 5.9 in.
