Tomato Slicer

The knife that finally does tomatoes justice. The Rada Tomato Slicer is one of the most talked-about knives in Rada's lineup, and for good reason. The world-famous dual-serrated blade glides through even the ripest tomato without squashing, tearing, or losing a drop of juice. Now available at Berry + Basil. The details Most knives fight tomatoes. This one doesn't. The dual-sided serrated blade is hollow ground and hand sharpened from surgical-grade T420 high-carbon stainless steel, giving it the kind of edge that slices clean and stays sharp. The serrations run both sides of the blade, making it equally effective for right- and left-handed cooks. But don't let the name limit your thinking. This knife earns its place far beyond tomato season. Use it to slice crusty sandwich rolls, cut pepper rings and cucumber rounds, prep onion slices, and work through any soft fruit or vegetable that would normally get crushed under a dull blade. The built-in finger guard on the black resin handle protects your hand while cutting, and the dishwasher-safe handle makes cleanup simple. Crafted in Waverly, Iowa, every blade is 100% made in the USA from raw materials through final construction, and backed by Rada's lifetime guarantee.
