Toccata for Piano by Philip Lambro, pub. Trigram

Toccata for Piano  By Philip Lambro Published by legacy publisher, Trigram Music in 1977.  These piano pieces give a good challenge to learn and enjoyable to play for pianists of all ages or those who want to take on a 2nd instrument. Phillip Lambro's Toccata for Piano is one of the most exciting pieces of its kind. Built around the interval of the minor second, this piece takes the pianist and listener through an acerbic journey that is most compelling. Phillip Lambro's music is far too little known and he is one of the most underrated American composers around. This piece is recommended to pianists who are looking for an exciting piece to play that is both different and rewarding. I am amazed this piece is not played more. It really packs a punch.
