Tobisho SR-1 Pruner

The Tobisho SR-1 Pruner is a premium Japanese hand-forged secateur renowned for its exceptional balance and razor-sharp performance in gardening tasks. Key Features Fully forged from high-carbon YCS-3 Yasuki steel for superior sharpness, durability, and clean cuts on branches up to 15mm thick. Its clamshell blade design with a mirror-polished, convex edge reduces friction and resistance for effortless pruning. Right-handed model (200mm length, ~250g weight) with non-slip red/yellow grips for comfort and visibility in gardens. Ideal Applications Perfect for professional horticulturists, gardeners, and vineyard workers handling repetitive pruning in diverse settings like orchards or landscapes. Suited to small-to-medium hands, it minimizes fatigue during extended use while delivering precise, tear-free cuts. Maintenance Tips Clean and oil the blade after each use to prevent rust; sharpen with fine stones as needed to maintain its edge. Avoid cutting wire or overly thick/hard materials to preserve the brittle high-carbon steel.
