These drill bits are optimized for impact driver usage. Step Drill Bits are the best bits that are used to drill a metal up to 1/4 of an inch thick. These step drill bits are designed to drill and ream holes through thin materials, such as sheet metal, to a specific diameter. The step drill bit can create holes in a range of sizes without requiring the user to swap out bits in the tool. It enlarges a hole as the bit drill through the sheet metal. Titanium Step Drill Bits increases the cutting speed with self-centering and prevents walking. It allows you to drill multiple-sized holes with one bit. Each step on these bits is larger in diameter.  Quantity: 1 piece Dimensions: Number of steps – 8 (eight) steps Hole Sizes – 9/16", 5/8", 11/16", 3/4", 13/16", 7/8", 15/16", 1" Shank Diameter – 3 Flats Shank  Machines Used On: Impact drivers and electric powered rotary drills Application: Ferrous metals like Steel, Iron, Stainless Steel, Cast Iron as well as other materials like plastics, composites, fiberglass and non-ferrous metals like aluminum and copper Safety Tips/techniques: Always wear proper PPE to include (but not limited to) safety glasses, hearing protection, respirator, and hand protection.  Keep all guards in place on your machine.
