Tiny Short Cylinder Carbide Bur

When it comes to carving, having the right tools can make all the difference. One tool in particular that can come in handy for a variety of cuts is the cylinder. With its ability to cut flat areas, round edges, and make stop cuts and V-cuts, the cylinder can be a versatile tool in the hands of a skilled carver. Notably, the tiny cylinder can create a cut similar to that of a knife or straight chisel, offering a similar precision. To make V-cuts, it's important to hold the tool at an angle and utilize the top corner to achieve the desired results. When it comes to woodworking, durability is key. Thankfully, there are options out there for long-lasting bits, nearly as durable as carbide-point bits. These bits can easily produce a smooth surface on woods of all types, and are available in both fluted and cross-cut styles. For those who enjoy carving, larger bits with ¼”-diameter shafts are useful for roughing out initial shapes, while smaller bits can add intricate details to the finished product. The versatility of these bits is unmatched, as they can be used to cut wood, acrylic, plaster, and even fiberglass. Invest in these high-durability bits for a tool that will last you through many woodworking projects to come. For those who work with cylinders regularly, these burs are the most useful for getting the most out of this handy tool.  Tiny Short Cylinder Carbide Bur Specifications This is a Tiny Short Cylinder Carbide Bur with a diamond cut.
