TINCTURE - MULLEIN

We believe that nature is God's pharmacy. Herbal tinctures can be taken alone or mixed into other liquids like water, tea, or juice. They can effectively help digestion, immune system function, and stress management. Herbal tinctures can support overall health and well-being. Are Tinctures and Extracts Effective?  Our bodies utilize about 98% of herbal extracts/tinctures but only about 50% of capsule and tablets. Tinctures are far more potent due to the large concentration of herbs in a smaller dose Whether preparing a tincture or an extract depends on the plant and whether the leaves, flowers, root or fruit is being used. We use the old-fashioned cold process method which is time consuming but well worth it. The difference between a tincture and an extract is that tinctures are always made with alcohol as the solvent. Any other solvent used, the preparation is an extract, not a tincture MULLEIN provides powerful respiratory and digestive support. BENEFITS: Gut, liver, or arthritic inflammation may be treated by consuming a mullein tea or tincture. May improve lung and respiratory health Mullein contains compounds like flavonoids and saponins that may help support the body's inflammatory response, soothing irritated tissues both internally and externally. May exhibit activity against certain bacteria and viruses, potentially aiding the body's fight against viral and bacterial infections.  Skin Health: Emerging research suggests topical application can support inflammatory responses, aid in managing blemishes and calming insect bites, helps wounds and burns heal Research indicates that mullein's phytochemicals, particularly verbascoside, may help support normal inflammatory processes within the musculoskeletal system and promote cartilage health One of these plant chemicals, an antioxidant called kaempferol, could help reverse cartilage destruction. It may also reduce the severity of pain and inflammation in rheumatoid arthritis. Ingredients: Mullein Leaf & Flower Alcohol Dosage: 2 – 4 ml twice a day Precautions: Pregnant or nursing women should not use mullein.  If you are taking any prescription medications, it's important to check for potential interactions with herbs.
