2023 Tinacula Red Bobal Blend

The Tinacula Red is a small-batch, limited-edition expression of Spain’s Bobal grape, with only 12,500 bottles ever produced. Aged for six months in traditional clay amphora, this wine pays homage to time-honored winemaking methods, allowing the purity of the fruit and terroir to shine. Deep garnet in the glass, Tinacula Red opens with aromas of wild blackberry, dried fig, and earthy spice, intertwined with subtle floral and mineral undertones. On the palate, the wine is bold yet beautifully structured, with flavors of black cherry, plum, and cocoa, complemented by a touch of rustic tannins and a smooth, lingering finish. The amphora aging imparts an elegant freshness and authenticity, making each sip feel like a connection to the past. A wine steeped in tradition and storytelling, its bottle features a poem celebrating the youthful curiosity of those who secretly tasted their family’s treasured wines. Tinacula Red is best enjoyed with roasted meats, aged cheeses, or slow-cooked stews, or simply savored in quiet reflection—like a stolen sip of something precious.
