Introducing "Tina," an alluring ceramic artwork created by esteemed artist Lester Jones. Originally showcased at the Chicken & Biscuits play exhibit, this piece portrays a figure with closed eyes and a serene expression, exuding strength, dignity, and cultural pride. Drawing inspiration from the iconic Tina Turner, Lester aptly named this sculpture. The intricate dreadlocks, crafted from glazed and coiled materials, are a stunning representation of traditional and modern artistic fusion. With earthy beads adding a bold touch, "Tina" stands as a testament to the beauty and resilience of Afrocentric culture.
