TimberTech Non-Collated Cortex Screw & Plug Packs for Composite Decking

The TimberTech Non-Collated Cortex Screw & Plug Pack is a top-down hidden fastening system engineered to secure TimberTech composite decking while delivering a clean, fastener-free surface. This system uses high-quality, ACQ-approved specialty deck screws with a TORX® ttap® drive that fastens each board to the joists, and then conceals the screw heads with loose, color-matched plugs cut from TimberTech composite decking material for a seamless look across the deck. Unlike side-clip or visible fasteners, the Cortex system allows installation across the entire deck surface—including perimeter boards and stairs—providing greater flexibility and a polished finished appearance. The non-collated design gives installers more control over plug placement and orientation for optimal aesthetic matching. This system is ideal for builders and homeowners who want a durable, reliable hidden fastening solution that enhances the visual appeal of composite decking without compromising structural performance.
