TimberTech Collated Cortex Screw & Plug Pack for Composite Decking

The TimberTech Collated Cortex Screw & Plug Packs for Composite Decking are a top-down hidden fastening system engineered to secure full-profile TimberTech composite decking while producing a clean, professional deck surface with no visible screw heads. Unlike loose plug packs, this collated design comes with pre-aligned plugs on strips that match the deck board’s material and grain, making installation quicker and easier on the jobsite. Cortex fasteners feature high-quality, ACQ-approved specialty screws with a TORX® ttap® drive that countersink reliably into joists, and color-matched composite plugs that conceal the screw heads for a seamless appearance across field boards, perimeter boards, and stairs. This system is ideal for homeowners and professional installers seeking an efficient, hidden fastening solution that improves both installation speed and final deck aesthetics while maintaining a strong mechanical connection between boards and framing.
