Traeger Timberline 850 | Pimp My Grill® G3 Slide-Out Rack System - 2 Racks

Traeger Timberline 850 G3 Slide-Out Rack System – 2 Racks Transform the way you cook on your Traeger Timberline 850 with the Pimp My Grill® G3 Slide-Out Rack System. Designed specifically for the Traeger Timberline 850, the Pimp My Grill® G3 Slide-Out Rack System brings your food to you with two heavy-duty, removable cooking racks that slide smoothly out of the grill for easier access. But this isn't simply a set of replacement grill grates. The Timberline's unique construction gave us the opportunity to engineer an entire rack-support system around the grill itself. The PMG system replaces the factory side panels with heavy-duty steel panels that support our patent-pending slide-out track system, while also changing the angle of the factory grease tray to encourage grease to flow toward the drain. The result is a purpose-built Timberline 850 upgrade designed around better access, more useful cooking configurations, easier grease management, and a better overall cooking workflow. Bring the Food to You Reaching into the back of a hot pellet grill to sauce, season, wrap, rotate, or check your food gets old fast. That's exactly why PMG developed the Slide-Out Rack System. Pull a rack toward you and bring the food out where you can actually work with it. When you're finished, simply slide it back into the cooking chamber. Built-in stops help prevent the racks from accidentally being pulled completely out during normal use, while each rack can still be intentionally removed in seconds when you need additional vertical clearance or access inside the grill. It's a simple idea that completely changes the way you interact with your Timberline. More Than Replacement Racks The Traeger Timberline 850 required a different approach than simply dropping new grates into the cooking chamber. PMG replaces the factory side panels with heavy-duty steel side panels engineered to become the foundation of the rack system itself. These panels: Support the patent-pending PMG slide-out track system Create multiple usable rack positions Add rigidity to the rack-support structure Replace the factory side panels using the existing mounting locations Install with no cutting or drilling The rack system becomes an integrated part of the grill rather than a generic rack sitting inside it. G3 – The Next Generation of PMG Rack Systems The Timberline 850 features our newest Pimp My Grill® G3 Slide-Out Rack System design. G3 builds on the functionality that made PMG rack systems popular while giving the system a more refined, finished appearance. The G3 design features: Rounded rack corners Picture-frame-style sheet metal trim Integrated Pimp My Grill® branding Heavy-duty construction Removable slide-out cooking racks Built-in rack stops Multiple rack positions It's engineered to look at home inside the Timberline while delivering the functionality you'd expect from a purpose-built PMG upgrade. Three Rack Positions. Two Removable Racks. The 2-rack G3 system gives you three available cooking positions, allowing you to configure the grill around what you're cooking. Need maximum space between the racks? Run the bottom and top positions. Want to change the height of one of your cooking surfaces? Move a rack to the middle position. Cooking something tall? Remove a rack completely in seconds. Instead of locking you into one grate configuration, the PMG system gives you the flexibility to set up your Timberline for the cook in front of you. Put More of the Timberline Cooking Chamber to Work One of the biggest advantages of a multi-level pellet grill rack system is being able to use more of the vertical space already inside the cooking chamber. With the racks installed in the bottom and top positions, you get a full 8 inches from the bottom rack to the top rack, with another 5 3/8 inches from the top rack to the top of the grill. That generous upper clearance makes the top position useful for much more than a thin warming rack. Use the different levels to take advantage of the heat, smoke, and convection characteristics of different areas within your Timberline—and configure the racks around the food you're cooking. Engineered to Improve Grease Drainage Here's another example of why the Timberline system is more than a rack upgrade. On the Timberline 850, the grease tray is supported by the side panels. Since PMG was already replacing those panels to support the Slide-Out Rack System, we were able to engineer the replacement panels to increase the pitch of the grease tray. Why? A steeper pitch encourages grease to move toward the grill's grease drain rather than sitting on the tray. It's a small engineering detail with a very practical purpose—and exactly the kind of opportunity we look for when developing PMG upgrades. For the complete setup, pair the rack system with the Pimp My Grill® Performance Stainless Steel Grease Tray for the Traeger Timberline 850. Rack Dimensions Top Rack: 21" × 15 1/2" Bottom Rack: 21" × 16 1/4" Rack Position & Clearance Bottom position to middle position: 3 1/8" Middle position to top position: 4 5/8" Top rack to top of grill: 5 3/8" Bottom rack to top rack: 8" These dimensions give you multiple ways to configure the cooking chamber depending on the food and vertical clearance you need. No drilling. No permanent modifications. Remove the Timberline's factory side panels, install the PMG replacement panels using the existing mounting locations and hardware, install the racks, and you're ready to cook. And when it's time for a deeper cleaning, the removable racks make it easy to open up the cooking chamber and get access where you need it. Build the Timberline 850 You Want to Cook On The stock Timberline is the platform. PMG helps you make it yours. The Pimp My Grill® G3 Slide-Out Rack System for the Traeger Timberline 850 doesn't just replace the cooking grates. It changes how you access your food, how you configure the cooking chamber, and how effectively you can use the space already inside your grill. Slide the racks out. Move them between positions. Remove them when you need additional clearance. Put the upper cooking chamber to work. And take advantage of Timberline-specific engineering designed around the grill rather than adapted from a universal rack. Upgrade your Traeger Timberline 850. Join the Movement. Pimp My Grill.
