A motionless animal isn't lifelike — moving it regularly can help make it more effective. 🦉 Be careful when filling your owl with sand. Do not let the head fall — replacements must be ordered separately. 🦉 If your owl appears to have stopped working, the battery has most likely been drained empty and needs to be recharged. Normally this isn't an issue, but if TIGER OWL is continuously triggered and over-worked, it can get stuck in a state of depletion before having time to recharge. Turn the owl off for a day and let it recharge in a sunny spot. Take care to position your owl in a place that doesn't have excessive disturbances that over-trigger the motion sensor and over-work the battery.   Great Horned Owls are apex predators that roost at the top of the food chain. These birds-of-prey are vicious, highly-territorial, and will fight for their space. Their beak, talons, and carnivorous diet classify them as raptors, and their feather pattern resembles the stripes of a tiger. Early naturalists described Great Horned Owls as “winged tigers” and “tigers of the air,” and we’re calling this one TIGER OWL.
