Tidal Memory

I was walking the beaches in Goa when the water turned an impossible shade of blue, and I wanted to keep that feeling. The piece holds that moment where the tide comes in and the light changes, so the deep blues and greens sit right against the warm, pale sand. It's a quiet scene, but the colors carry a lot of energy, shifting from the bright turquoise of the day to the electric glow of the night. The sand is real and gritty, giving the surface a texture that feels like you could actually walk on it. Then there is the water, which is layered and fluid, catching the light in a way that feels alive. It's not just a picture of a beach; it's the specific sensation of being there when the sun goes down and the world gets a little more mysterious. I wanted it to feel like a memory you can hold.
