A visually impressive gauge of the intensity with which tick-based charts are moving. Think of it as tick 'pace' or 'schedule' — is the current chart moving aggressively or passively, relative to itself? Larger, brighter bars that appear 'nearer' to the user are slowly completing the chart-specified number of ticks. Shorter, darker bars that appear 'further' from the user are rapidly completing the chart-specified number of ticks.
