Thyroid TSH Test

The thyroid is a small butterfly-shaped gland located near the throat. Although the organ itself is small, it has a significant impact on overall health. The thyroid produces countless hormones that affect nearly every tissue in the body. When functioning properly, it helps regulate everything from metabolism to sexual function. The Thyroid TSH Test looks at thyrotropin (thyroid stimulating hormone), a hormone that stimulates the thyroid into producing more of the important hormones needed to live a healthy life. If your levels of TSH are elevated or subdued, it may indicate that your thyroid is not functioning optimally. Select for FREE with an active Ayubowan membership every 90 days.
