Thunder Cayenne - Seeds

Thunder Cayenne - (Capsicum annuum) - Seeds The Thunder Cayenne pepper is a unique hybrid born from the Thunder Mountain Longhorn and the Cayenne pepper, blending the best traits of these two legendary varieties. Thunder Cayenne peppers grow to impressive lengths, often exceeding 12 inches, with a slender, curled shape reminiscent of the Thunder Mountain Longhorn. The skin is slightly rippled, tapering to a curved tip, and ripens from vibrant green to a deep, fiery red.  This hybrid delivers a complex and robust flavor that balances the earthy, smoky sweetness of the Thunder Mountain Longhorn with the bold, slightly sharper heat of the Cayenne.  The Thunder Cayenne is ideal for drying and grinding into flavorful chili powder or flakes. It excels as an ingredient in spicy sauces, stir-fries, and traditional smoked or dried preparations. Its mild to medium heat and rich taste make it a favorite for adding depth to both Asian and Western cuisine. Heat level:  Approximately 30,000-50,000 SHU - Medium Heat. Flavor:  Smoky, Sweet, Earthy.
