Thunder Canyon Falls

Snow melting sent water flowing through Thunder Canyon Falls, carving its way through deep, narrow rock formations shaped by years of moving water. With the canyon alive again, the sound of the falls echoes between stone walls as light filters in from above. From the icy water below to the warm sunlight overhead, this photograph captures a fleeting moment when winter and light briefly meet inside the Ozark landscape. Captured in the Arkansas Ozarks and printed with care to preserve detail, depth, and natural tone.
