The shape focuses force at the tip, multiplying pressure by 8x compared to the base. Ideal for those with weak hands—generate strong pressure without straining your thumbs. Use it heated*, chilled*, dry, with oil, directly on the skin, or even through clothing. Versatile massage tool with multiple angles: use the point, slope, shoulder, or base for various techniques. Suitable for tapotement, petrissage/kneading, friction, rolling, effleurage, trigger point therapy, muscle stripping, and more. High friction makes it ideal for cross-fiber friction massage on dry skin. Sticks to smooth surfaces like walls, doors, and floors for self-massage on the body or feet. Lightweight at just 6 oz., portable, and long-lasting. Includes an instructional mini-booklet with links to pictures and videos for easy use. Summary The patent-pending Thumbby Massager is a revolutionary massage tool designed for both professionals and casual users. Whether you're a massage therapist, physical therapist, chiropractor, or just someone who enjoys giving and receiving massages, the Thumbby is an easy-to-use tool that delivers relief. Unlike hard, unyielding massage tools, the Thumbby feels like a real thumb—just slightly softer—while applying deep pressure without fatigue. Its unique design concentrates force at the point, delivering up to 8x more pressure than what’s applied at the base, making it perfect for those with weaker hands. Soft and ergonomic, the Thumbby moves like a thumb, allowing for comfort and ease while working out knots and tight muscles. The Thumbby offers multiple ways to target pressure with its varied geometries—use the point for precision, the slope for broader strokes, or the shoulder and base for deep tissue work. It doesn't slip on dry skin, and its high friction is ideal for cross-fiber friction massage, whether used on bare skin or through clothing. The Thumbby also doubles as a self-massage tool. Its suction base allows it to stick to smooth surfaces like walls and floors, making it easy to give yourself a back or foot massage. Weighing only 6 oz., it's highly portable and can be used anywhere—heated* (in hot water, not direct heat) or chilled* (gentle cooling without dripping). Invented by a massage therapist with 36 years of experience in collaboration with an engineer, Thumbby is built to last for years and is proudly made in Oregon, USA. It comes with an instructional mini-booklet and access to online resources, but its uses are only limited by your imagination!
