Thrustmaster T598 Servo Base – Direct Drive – PlayStation & PC

Thrustmaster T598 Servo Base The Thrustmaster T598 Servo Base introduces a new era of high-fidelity sim racing with its innovative Direct Axial Drive motor. Utilizing an Axial Flux design, this base delivers ultra-clean Force Feedback with zero cogging and surgical precision. With 5 Nm of constant torque and a massive +100% power overshoot capability, the T598 provides the dynamic range and low-latency response required for competitive racing on PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, and PC. Note: This is a standalone Servo Base only. Wheel rims, pedals, and shifters are sold separately. Direct Axial Drive & Axial Flux Motor › Zero Cogging, Infinite Detail Unlike traditional Direct Drive motors, the T598's Axial Flux architecture eliminates "cogging" (the notched feeling common in standard motors). This results in perfectly linear Force Feedback and a transparent transmission of track geometry, allowing you to feel every nuance of the vehicle's behavior without mechanical interference. Constant Torque: 5 Nm of sustained torque for consistent resistance. Power Overshoot: Capable of +100% boosts for intense, high-energy racing effects. Ultra-Low Latency: 5 ms response time for near-instantaneous feedback. HARMONY High-Frequency Feedback › Thrustmaster’s HARMONY technology pushes realism beyond basic steering resistance. It generates high-frequency torque vibrations that allow you to "feel" specific car and track details that are often lost in other systems. Tactile Detail: Feel tire screeching, track kerbs, and road surface textures with clinical clarity. Traction Awareness: Improved physical communication during heavy braking and traction loss. Immersive Audio-Tactile: Enhances the physical sensation of the engine and drivetrain. Race Dash Display & Ecosystem › On-The-Fly Customization The T598 features an integrated Race Dash screen, allowing you to configure Force Feedback profiles and settings directly on the base without leaving your seat. In supported titles, this display also shows vital in-game telemetry like speed, lap times, and race flags. Ecosystem Ready: Fully compatible with all Thrustmaster Add-On wheel rims (Formula, GT, Rally). Peripheral Support: Works seamlessly with Thrustmaster pedals, shifters, and handbrakes. Rig Mounting: Features four underside mounting points for professional cockpit installation. Note: Desk/table mounting requires the T598 Desk Mounting Kit (sold separately).
