Thrustmaster AVA Joystick Base

The Thrustmaster AVA (Advanced Versatile Architecture) is a high-performance, standalone joystick base designed for modular customization in civilian and combat simulation on Windows PC. Engineered with a 100% metal internal gimbal, the AVA base allows for total mechanical adjustment, including swappable cams and springs to modify the tension and deflection curves of the stick. Utilizing H.E.A.R.T magnetic sensors, it delivers 16-bit resolution (65,536 values) for friction-free precision across the pitch and roll axes. This base serves as the core of a modular ecosystem, compatible with all Thrustmaster flight grip add-ons and specialized mounting hardware. Advanced Versatile Architecture (AVA) Customizable Mechanics: Allows users to swap internal cams and springs to adjust the stick's return-to-center force and travel profile (Linear, Aero, or Soft). Adjustable Damping: Features accessible external ports to fine-tune the damping level, managing the stick's speed of return to neutral. Modular Neck Design: Engineered for rapid switching between different Thrustmaster grips, including the F/A-18C, Warthog, and Viper series. All-Metal Gimbal: The central pivot and mechanical housing are constructed from industrial-grade metal to ensure zero-flex and long-term durability. H.E.A.R.T Sensor & Electronics Magnetic Sensing: 3D Hall Effect sensors eliminate mechanical potentiometers, providing surgical accuracy that does not degrade due to physical wear. 16-Bit Resolution: Transmits 65,536 distinct values on both X and Y axes, enabling ultra-fine control for carrier landings, aerial refueling, and formation flight. Zero Dead Zones: Magnetic technology facilitates an immediate and linear response to the slightest stick deflection. Installation & Compatibility Modular Mounting: Compatible with AVA-specific accessories including the Desktop Plate, Offset Adapter, and Long Extension. Cockpit Integration: Features standardized screw threads for secure mounting into commercial flight-sim rigs and custom cockpits. T.A.R.G.E.T Software: Fully compatible with the Advanced pRogramming Graphical EdiTor to create custom mapping and sensitivity curves on PC.
