Two Spirit Strong Blanket - Cream

Two Spirit people are not only accepted in most traditional Indigenous communities, but also honored. In many tribes they have traditionally held places of respect as medicine people, healers, the parents of orphans, diplomats, and more. Two Spirit people are understood to embody both genders which blesses them with a deeper understanding of the human condition. Yaqui artist, Michael Horse, painted this image, Two Spirit Strong, to honor our relatives who have had the strength to defy the colonizer's attempts to harm and diminish them, as well as force them into binary relationships for hundreds of years. We honor their courage and bravery with this image. -------------------- This soft touch throw blanket is ideal to wrap yourself up in on those chilly nights! • 100% polyester • Soft silk touch fabric • Printing on one side • White reverse side • Machine-washable • Hypoallergenic • Flame retardant • Blank product sourced from China This product is made especially for you as soon as you place an order, which is why it takes us a bit longer to deliver it to you.
