Inspired by Katie Thurston’s journey with stage IV metastatic breast cancer, Thriving is more than a bracelet. It's a representation of resilience and strength. The “IV” in Thriving honors the stage IV community. Little Words Project will donate 25% of sales of Katie’s bracelet to the Breast Cancer Research Foundation (BCRF), exclusively supporting metastatic breast cancer research. This year, BCRF is the largest private funder of breast cancer research – and metastatic breast cancer research – worldwide. A note from Katie about her design: “Breast cancer has a way of making you reevaluate your entire life and future. Let the past be the past...I’m here today and I’m thankful and I’m thriving. I asked my Boobie Broadcast community for help designing this bracelet. The colors were inspired by the colors commonly used to represent metastatic breast cancer. I wanted to use more ethereal colors after a fellow Breastie once told me we are unicorns when comparing our abnormal growth to the horn of a unicorn.
