Threshold of Doubt #2 (framed)

Sohan Murthy Threshold of Doubt #2 Acrylic on Arches paper, framed in museum glass 17" x 17" 2025 Completed in August 2025. Series of 12. I have a long, enduring fascination with the concept of emergent properties; how complex systems arise from simple interactions. The algorithm I wrote for this series arranges hundreds of line forms in such a manner that produce complex interference patterns. Curving, lenticular textures that pulse with lifelike energy emerge from nothing more than a few straight lines. This piece is part of our current show Catastrophic Forgetting and will remain on display in the gallery through March 15. We will ship this piece the week of March 16, 2026. * This is an oversized piece. Shipping will be calculated separately and you will be billed for shipping costs at time of shipment. Please email us at info@thecompoundgallery.com if you have any questions.
