Tom soon had a new holster made to his specifications. The holster became an instant success with his fellow El Paso officers. Within a few years Myers was advertising a “Threepersons, quick-draw holster” in their leather catalog. Tom’s re-design of the belt holster cut around the trigger guard, exposing it completely, along with all of the hammer.
