Three Sisters Seed Collection – Native American Farming – Corn, Bean, Squash

Grow a garden based on centuries of Native American wisdom with our Three Sisters Seed Collection. The "Three Sisters"—corn, beans, and squash—are the cornerstones of traditional agriculture, a brilliant companion planting system where each plant supports the others. This collection provides everything you need to create your own symbiotic and productive garden patch. ⭐ Why it works Corn provides a tall, natural trellis for the pole beans to climb. Beans, being nitrogen-fixers, enrich the soil, feeding the heavy-feeding corn and squash. Squash provides a living mulch, as its large leaves shade the ground, conserving moisture and suppressing weeds. Together, these three foods provide a complete and balanced diet. 🌿 What's in the collection Corn, Bodacious (30 Seeds) Bean, Blue Lake (50 Seeds) Squash, Zucchini Dark Green (25 Seeds) 🌱 Planting instructions This classic companion planting method is traditionally planted on a small mound. Create a mound of soil approximately 4 inches high and 1-2 feet wide, with a small well in the center like a crater. After all danger of frost has passed, plant 4 corn seeds in the center well, about 1 inch deep and 6 inches apart. When the corn is about 4 inches tall, plant 4 bean seeds halfway down the sides of the mound, about 1 inch deep and at least 3 inches from the corn. After the beans have emerged, plant 2 squash seeds on opposite sides of the mound, about 24 inches from the center. Train the squash vines to grow outwards, away from the corn and beans. For multiple mounds, space them 3-4 feet apart. ✅ Our seed packets Professionally designed and made. Resealable for convenient, long-term storage. Eco-friendly and recyclable (contains no plastic).
