Natural colored thread has not been processed in any way except washing, it is perfect for piece-dyeing (overdyeing). Colored thread will not bleed or fade and the colors are not effected by washing. Tex 40 and Tex 70 in Natural color have not been lightened or dyed.  The cotton has simply been washed and spun, to support manufacturers who piece dye and for the safety of our customers with MCS.
