Thomastik Spirocore Bass Low B String

Spirocore strings have a flexible multiwire spiral rope core wound with chrome. They offer a longer period of musical vibration and significantly reduce inertia. Spirocore strings are equally effective when playing arco or pizzicato. They are highly responsive and long lasting. Spirocore strings, widely recognized as "the reference standard" are renowned for their distinctive tone and playability. Spirocore is one of the most popular strings for jazz and bluegrass bass playing.  This fifth string is made to tune to low B. It is not long enough to fit an extension. For a string that fits an extension, order S44.
