Thomastik-Infeld Red Violin String Set

Infield Red Strings produce a powerful, expansive, warm tone ideal for solo performers. These premier strings are wound on an advanced synthetic core designed to create even tension across all strings and represent a full tonal spectrum. The Infeld Violin system affords the player these advantages: Suitable for old and new instruments Relatively insensitive to excess humidity Strings settle in quickly, stabilizing early on in the string's life for concert use Low overall tension on the instrument produces an open, transparent sound Very responsive to different playing techniques, lending itself to various interpretative approaches Large and full sound suitable for soloists and chamber music players Good purity of open fifths — even when strings are older Excellent response in all positions Emphasizes the innate tonal characteristics of each violin, making instrument adjustment easier String orders are shipped in 4/4 size and medium gauge unless otherwise requested.
