Thomastik-Infeld Dominant Bass String Set

The Thomastik-Infeld Dominant Bass String Set is widely regarded as the reference standard for synthetic-core double bass strings. Designed with a highly flexible multi-strand synthetic core, Dominant bass strings deliver the warmth, complexity, and feel of gut strings while offering the reliability and stability of modern materials. These strings produce a soft, clear tone rich in overtones, with excellent balance across the entire register. Dominant bass strings are known for their stable intonation and consistent response, making them a trusted choice for orchestral, chamber, and solo bassists. Unlike traditional gut strings, Dominant bass strings are impervious to changes in humidity and temperature, allowing players to enjoy dependable tuning stability and performance in a wide range of environments. Their flexible construction provides a comfortable feel under the fingers and supports both arco and pizzicato playing with ease. Size: 3/4
