Scottish Thistle Handmade Christmas Bauble

Our lovely Scottish Thistle Handmade Christmas Bauble is a unique keepsake for you and your loved ones to remember! Featuring thistles, Scotland's national flower and a bearer of legendary stories, this bauble is a great addition to Christmas trees, wreaths, and garlands in any Scottish household. Let us introduce you to the timeless tale of the thistle. It's believed that around the Middle Ages, the Vikings planned a night attack against a sleeping army of Scots, considering that walking barefoot would not wake them up. Little did they know that the fields were full of thorny thistle flowers - one of the Vikings accidentally stepped on a thistle alerting the Scots that defeated them. Since then, the thistle has symbolized Scottish bravery and determination. Crafted through the Victorian layering art technique of papier mache, a durable material that won't crack or chip, this handmade Christmas bauble promises to bring joy to many festive occasions ahead. Think of what a special family heirloom it would make! The bauble measures 2.95'' in diameter and comes with a red ribbon for easy hanging. As a plus, it includes a colorful box for gift-giving or storage.
