this mug is not a mug - YOLOv2

This mug looks like a mug to a human, but has been designed to minimize the probability it will be recognized as a mug by a robot.*  Buy one and laugh as your tea disappears into the fake background of your video call. Buy four and sneak an entire bottle of wine past that CCTV camera. You can hide anything from your robot overlords if you can fit it inside a coffee mug. Adversarial patches don't always transfer well between models. This patch was specifically designed to be effective against YOLOv2. • Ceramic • 11 oz mug dimensions: 3.85″ (9.8 cm) in height, 3.35″ (8.5 cm) in diameter • 15 oz mug dimensions: 4.7″ (12 cm) in height, 3.35″ (8.5 cm) in diameter • Dishwasher and microwave safe * This means that sometimes it will get classified as a house plant, a bowl, or a even a tiny person, depending on how far away the robot is, what part of the graphic is visible, and what other objects are nearby. This adversarial designs mug uses an untargeted adversarial patch that minimizes the class probability for cup in the bounding box for the mug. The patch is trained with dynamic spline warping to account for the curvature of the mug's surface.
