ThirdReality Motion Sensor

Elevate your Home Assistant setup with the ThirdReality Zigbee Motion Sensor—a reliable, battery-powered sensor that seamlessly integrates via Zigbee for effortless automation. Compatible with Home Assistant's Zigbee integration (using coordinators like ZHA or Zigbee2MQTT), it detects motion up to 20 feet (6 meters) away, enabling instant triggers for lights, notifications, or routines. Pair it quickly without hubs like Echo—Home Assistant discovers it automatically for hassle-free setup. Powered by 2 AAA batteries, it delivers up to 2 years of life in typical use, keeping your smart home running smoothly. FEATURES Zigbee Native Integration: Directly compatible with Home Assistant via Zigbee hubs or coordinators—no extra gateways needed. Also works with Echo (4th Gen), Echo Plus (1st/2nd Gen), Echo Studio, Eero 6/Pro 6, SmartThings (2015/2018), Aeotec, Homey, Hubitat, Homey Bridge/Pro, ThirdReality Hub, and ThirdReality Smart Speaker. (Zigbee coordinator required for Home Assistant.)   Home Assistant Automation Power: Trigger custom automations in Home Assistant when motion is detected—e.g., turn on lights via Philips Hue or Sonoff Zigbee bulbs, send mobile notifications, or activate security cameras. Set conditions for no-motion timeouts to auto-off devices, all configurable in your Home Assistant dashboard for precise control.   Effortless Pairing: Enters pairing mode instantly; Home Assistant (or compatible Zigbee device) auto-discovers it. Simply say "Alexa, discover devices" if using an Echo bridge, or scan in Home Assistant's Zigbee panel—setup in seconds, no wiring required.   Extended Range & Battery Efficiency: Senses motion across 20 feet (6 meters) for whole-room coverage. Low-power design ensures 2-year battery life (2x AAA, included), with battery status monitored directly in Home Assistant for proactive alerts.   SPECIFICATIONS Brand ‎THIRDREALITY Color ‎White Power Source ‎Battery Powered Maximum Range ‎30 Feet Mounting Type ‎Wall Mount Number of Batteries ‎2 AAA batteries required.
