Third Eye Skull

Oil Painting Commission, Oil on Canvas, Original is not available Canvas Print w/ Wrap Around Edges Cotton Rag Archival Paper, various sizes  Please allow 1 - 2 weeks for shipment Set within the ancient framework of a mandala, the human skull commands attention and becomes an extension of the observer. Inviting a meditation on life, the flow of the golden patterns emanating from the "third eye socket" and set against the saint-like halos, move us beyond the canvas. Inviting us to gently contemplate death, eternity, past lives, future lives, current lives, our existences as a whole. This painting is an ode to understanding - an attempt at honoring - these natural, inevitable, often scary, always unknown, cycles. The circle of life, a reflection on Samsara, a Memento Mori.
