The slats go through a chemical-free heat process that permanently increases their resistance to moisture, warping, and decay — significantly more durable than standard outdoor lumber. Both materials are designed for permanent outdoor installation year-round. No finish is required on either material; the cedar will gradually weather to silver-grey if left untreated, or hold its warm tone with a penetrating oil applied every few years. Which size do I need? Choose the A-frame size that matches your swing: the 4ft stand pairs with all ThermaFusion 4-foot yard swings and the Tete-A-Tete Yard Swing. The 5ft stand pairs with the ThermaFusion 5-foot yard swing. Not sure which swing you have or which to order? Contact us before purchasing, we’re happy to help you pair the right stand with the right swing. Shipping & Lead Time Most ThermaFusion pieces are made to order. Please allow 3-4 weeks for production and delivery. Free curbside shipping on orders over $139 to the lower 48 states. Alaska and Hawaii require a separate freight quote — contact us before ordering. Natural surface checking (small cracks) in the cedar log frame is a normal characteristic of solid cedar, not a defect, and does not affect structural integrity. Returns on made-to-order furniture are limited due to freight costs and product condition requirements.
