Thebai

Build the city. Command the warriors. Rise with the gods. In Thebai, you take on the role of a noble house vying for glory in the legendary city of Cadmea, the heart of ancient Thebes. In a world shaped by mythology, divine favor, and military might, your goal is to expand the city, ascend your warriors to powerful commanders, and earn the favor of the gods to secure your place in history. Throughout the game, players lay tiles to build Cadmea, unlocking powerful new actions and strategic opportunities. Dice are never rolled—they evolve and improve as the game progresses, rewarding careful planning and development. You must balance a tight economic engine while defending the city gates against invading threats. Train and promote hoplites, manage resources, and climb the favor tracks of two mighty gods whose influence can shift the course of the game. Every action counts. Shape the city, raise your warriors, and harness divine power to outwit your rivals and claim your legacy.
