Theatrus T87 Quad 8" Flagship Monitor Speaker

For individuals who have a passion for music and movies, as well as a need for a spacious sound environment, locating a speaker that meets the criteria of being large in size, powerful, with high sound pressure levels, and HiFi sound quality can be quite challenging. Consumers find themselves in a predicament, having to make a tough decision. Fortunately, there is now a sound solution available in the market that allows you to enjoy the best of both worlds - the Theatrus T87 flagship luxury large size main speakers T87 is a 3-Way design, featuring an array of seven (7) drivers, which fuses into a superforce of sound quality that is designed for home theater, custom installation, professional music studios, and film studios.   The Theatrus T87 features a custom-designed aluminum faceplate in the center, housing the 5"x1" AMT Ribbon Tweeter and Dual 3-inch Soft-Dome Mid-Range Drivers. To deliver an enhanced low end, the Quad 8" Woofers are meticulously crafted from German Propex Fabrics Curv material. The T87 speaker has been meticulously engineered to deliver precise and distortion-free audio reproduction across a wide range of volume levels. Its generous dimensions and impressive dynamic range make it an ideal choice for enjoying a diverse range of music genres. The T87 provides increased sound pressure levels, making it ideal for larger listening spaces. With its combination of high efficiency and high power, it creates a remarkably expansive sound field that effectively covers a majority of the listening area. Due to its large size, the T87 can only be positioned vertically in front of or behind the screen. Therefore, the design takes into consideration the placement of the speaker by including an aluminum foundation. Additionally, the speaker features a high frequency tuning switch option located at the rear, whether it is positioned in front or behind the screen. Due to its large size, the T87 cannot be installed in the wall, resulting in the removal of the low-frequency adjustment function in this model. The backplate now features three groups of gold-plating binding-posts, allowing for triamping/triwiring mode and providing users with more options. T87 users can directly connect it to our Energy Pro Power Amplifiers. For optimal performance, one E2H can drive two T87 or one E3H can drive three T87. If you prefer a Tri-ampable setup, we recommend using the E3H amplifier model for the tweeter/midrange driver/woofer, with one E3H driving one T87. Utilizing an Energy amplifier is the most effective way to achieve the sound and performance intended by our engineers. This combination guarantees optimal performance and sound quality. By selecting the appropriate amplification equipment and components, users can enjoy the ultimate audio experience with the Aperion Theatrus T87. So whether you choose to use the Theatrus T87 in a 2-channel music setup, or a full blown home theater with Dolby Atmos, DTS:X and Auro-3D, listening to the new Theatrus speakers will certainly impress the most discerning of ears. It is perfect for audiophiles and music enthusiasts who demand the best sound quality and performance.   For Large Listening Spaces The T87 delivers an expansive and captivating soundstage that effortlessly fills even the most spacious listening areas.   Aperion High Power Air Motion Tweeter  Our newest high power AMT tweeter, which utilizes the neodymium magnetic radial magnetic field (NRT) technology. In this design, the powerful magnetic poles are positioned on both sides of the sound membrane, resulting in a centripetal convergence that directly drives the sound unit. As a result, the radial magnetic field becomes more uniform and stronger, leading to improved sound density and off-axis response. Additionally, this technology eliminates any magnetic loss, resulting in higher magnet efficiency and increased sensitivity with minimal distortion.   Dual 3" Soft-dome Midrange Drivers Our high end soft-dome midrange unit features a large, low distortion 75mm voice coil, which exceeds the normal size of this type of drive unit. It's wide pole structure and special damping coating significantly reduce the medium frequency segmentation vibration. It has excellent matching characteristics with the AMT tweeter.   Quad 8" Curv Cone Woofers The Theaterus line features a new Curv material from Germany Propex Fabrics. The properties of this new Curv material are lightweight, yet riged and stiff, maintain a high temperature resistance without any water absorption, and the most important in crating a driver unit - this matieral has a high Young's Modulus and internal damping. which provides exceptional rigidity and speed of response.    Sound Adjustment The new Theatrus T87 speaker features a high frequency adjustment to compensate the high frequency when the speaker is placed behind a projection screen. Advanced Crossover Design The T87 features a three-way passive crossover among the woofers, midrange drivers and the tweeter. The Theatrus line employs superior customized components, which include high quality thin film capacitors to provide minimum dielectric loss, customized Aperion internal wiring with spade connectors to make upgrading a breeze, and we even went as far as customizing the PCB board to represent our love of great sounding audio!   5-Way Gold-Plated Binding Posts The 5-way gold-plated binding posts let you connect your speakers any which way you choose: bare wire, banana plugs, spades, round pins or flat pins.   Tri-Ampable Connections Tri-ampable is the techie way of saying you can connect one amplifier channel to the woofer, one amplifier to the midrange driver and a third channel to the tweeter. Separating the high, mid and low-frequency wiring helps eliminate interaction, isolate power and reduce distortion.   Custom Tuned Cabinet The Theatrus drivers are enclosed in an Anti Resonant MDF Cabinet. The black polyurea coating is applied using a one-time coating process, ensuring that there are no visible seams.  Featuring excellent adhesion, friction resistance, hardness and even water resistance, our black Polyurea coated cabinets will stand the test of time and look good doing it.     Large Front Port Tube The T87 features a bass reflex design with two front ports, effectively minimizing air-leak noise while enhancing bass performance. This design enables the speaker to efficiently reproduce low-frequency sounds.   Aluminum Handles The T87 possesses considerable weight, featuring a pair of aluminum handles on either side to facilitate its transportation. It is advisable to have a minimum of two individuals to securely position the speaker.   Lightweight magnetic grille To protect the speaker's drivers from accidents, pets or curious fingers, the entire Theatrus line sports a lightweight magnetic grille which can easily be removed when you want to show off the array of drivers to friends and family.   Included Aluminum Foundation Due to its large size, the T87 can only be positioned vertically in front of or behind a projection screen. The design took into account the placement of the speaker, so we include an aluminum speaker stand in the package. (Assembly Instruction)   Placement location Theatrus speakers are versatile in their design and can be positioned in any channel of the home theater system.    Key Features APERION AMT (Air Motion Transformer) Ribbon Tweeter APERION 3" Soft-Dome Fabric Mid-Range Drivers x 2 APERION 8" Curv Cone Woofers x 4 Optimized Crossover Network with Mylar and Polypropylene Capacitors Rear Adjustment High-Frequency Compensation for Placement Behind Projector Screens Anti-Resonant Cabinet Included Aluminum Foundation 5-Way Gold Plated Binding Posts Magnetic Acoustically Transparent Grille Cloth   Package Contents: T87 Monitor Speaker x One (1) Pcs Aluminum Foundation x One (1) Pcs Manual Download Card x One (1) Pcs Polish Cloth x One (1) Pcs Gloves x Two (2) Pcs   Download: Theatrus Manual   Theatrus Aluminum Foundation Assembly Instruction Complete Your Sound System  These products work great with Theatrus Speakers    Theatrus In-wall & On-wall Speakers To Fit Any Room    Power Up With Energy Amplifiers!   The Perfect Atmos Additon!   Low Frequency Extension In Matching Finishes!
