The Wisdom The Gathering in Neutral

The Wisdom The Gathering in Neutral features a dense flock of crows perched among tall, graphic sunflowers, all rendered in dramatic near-black charcoal against a warm parchment cream background, with soft golden gemstones quietly layered in the background. The high-contrast palette gives the design a bold, graphic quality with an antique printmaking aesthetic reminiscent of vintage botanical or natural history illustrations. A versatile and sophisticated focal fabric, it pairs elegantly with warm neutrals, black solids, or earthy golds for a rustic, gothic-inspired quilt or home décor project. The Wisdom is a richly layered collection that weaves together a vibrant palette of teal, cobalt, magenta, orange, and gold against cream and charcoal backgrounds. Born from nights of moonlight and music, this collection came to life in the quiet of Valori Wells’s studio, where paint met emotion, and crows became symbols of transformation. The collection focuses on nature-inspired prints featuring crows among sunflowers, birch tree silhouettes, and bold botanical blooms, rendered in a painterly, folk-art style with collage-like textures. Geometric diamond and triangle patterns provide graphic contrast to the organic imagery, while text-printed backgrounds add a poetic, journal-like depth. Overall, the collection strikes a balance between wild and refined, where each brushstroke embodies the strength of the human spirit and the beauty of finding peace within.
